Back To School Madness: The 2013 Edition

As a mother of school-age children, the month of September marks an exciting time of new beginnings: new teachers, new friends, new clothes, new sneakers, new routines, new experiences. Everything is just new, new, new. And, while today marks the last day of Summer and I really enjoyed the relaxation that the summer months brought us, by the time August rolls around I start to crave structure and look forward to beginning the next school year. That being said, the 1st day of school has officially knocked on our door and passed us by! Woo hoo! And, as the first month of school almost comes to an end, I figured I would finally post the pictures of my little ositos' first day of school. I'm only about three weeks late but whose counting.

So here's the breakdown of what my school year will look like:

DB is entering the 8th grade and is officially an "upper classman" in his middle school:

NB is entering the 5th grade and she too is an "upper classman" at her elementary school:

JB is entering the second year of Pre-K and he's just still my baby:      

EB is enjoying all the quality time she gets to spend with her Mami while her brothers and sister are off to school:

June 2014 will be full of graduations for me and I look forward to each one of them! Here's wishing my ositos a prosperous fun filled year in school.  Los amo mucho!
